Baby Basics of Troy Ministry
Baby Basics of Troy Ministry is a nonprofit volunteer organization that provides and distributes diapers to working poor families who do not receive governmental cash assistance. The original Baby Basics group started in New Jersey in 1992 and the organization has grown to over 13 cities nationwide. The Troy group was formed in 2006 and received their first grant Spring 2007 from First Presbyterian in Birmingham which will allow them to support 5-6 babies for this upcoming year. Currently, Baby Basics of Troy Ministry is seeking families to support and also soliciting donations for this worthy cause. 100% of donations go directly toward the purchase of diapers.
We are currently servicing 13 families and 15 babies. We also have a waitlist of babies and welcome additional funding so we can welcome these babies into our ministry. Please contact us to donate. Nothing is too small!
For the 3rd year in a row, we participated in Macy's Shopping for a Cause and was able to raise funds to help our organization. Thanks for everyone who participated!
